Name: L'en
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Rank: Drudge
Family: Father, W'ran, Fire rider, Fadoth; Mother, Lurian, Emerald rider, Anith, Sister, Lurane, Scarlet rider, Esteth (B31B1B)
Pets: None
Physical Appearance: L'en is proportionally shorter than his sister at only average height, but he has a grace in his movements that somehow still seems masculine. His hair is short and dark brown, almost black with medium brown highlights. His hair is darker because he spends less time in the sun. However, his eyes are a deep brown, more like his father's. His skin is light cream in color, and would have a tendency to tan if he got out in the sun more often. He is of a lightish build and more wiry than his sister.
Personality: L'en doesn't really put out much effort in doing anything anymore. He just does enough work to keep from getting into trouble. This is in stark contrast to the way he was before he Impressed Kekath. L'en was a reckless young man who would do the craziest thing on a dare and not even blink. He'd try anything once and do things just for the fun of trying them. That reckless youngling has been replaced by a person who hides within himself to try and block the pain of watching the pinks be persecuted.
History: L'en, or Laren, as he was born, was always more daring and reckless than his sister. He was the one who came up with crazy plans and got others to follow along. Laren was getting unofficial Healer training in the Infirmary because he ended up there so often and because he liked helping the Healers. When he was twelve, Laren followed his sister onto the Sands as was expected for the son of two dragonriders. Neither had any luck at the Hatchings until Lurane was seventeen and Laren fifteen. At that Hatching, both walked away with a dragon; Lurane with scarlet Esteth and Laren, now L'en, with pink Kekath. Everyone had thought that L'en was going to Impress a Silver-Bronze, but the masculine seeming Kekath surprised them all. In the turns since he Impressed Kekath, L'en has become very withdrawn and has stopped associating with others very much.
Dragon Name: Kekath (A9203E)
Dragon Color: Pink
Dragon Age: 13
Dragon Appearance: Kekath, unlike most pinks, has a distinctly masculine appearance. His hide is a dull, purplish pink and never seems to shine, even when freshly oiled. Due to his insubordinate nature, he has many scars in a dull coral-salmon from the talons and teeth of dragons that take his pride in the wrong way. Kekath is in the middle of the size range for a pink, but his wings are very long for a dragon his size. He looks as if he could fly and turn quickly, but not fly for long periods.
Dragon Personality: If a dragon could be said to have been born in the wrong hide, Kekath is the one. He has some of the bull-headed pride of a Silver-Bronze and the courage of a much larger dragon all bound up in his little pink self. Kekath refuses to be bullied by larger dragons and has to be forced by his rider to act subservient. He hates quitting and tries to keep up with the larger dragons despite his size. L'en has to watch him carefully for signs of strain, because Kekath doesn't often complain.
