There is one island wher that was a mess up on Wind Blossom's part. This wher cannot be spared separate handlers from dragon riders and so the one egg that the females had was always gotten by the people with more merrits (sort of like marks, they are used as a barter system, people can earn them by trading or by protecting the weyr from an island dragon, learn more on merrit board) The whers are fancy pets since they rarley ever run and only produce one egg if they are female.
Glitter Wher: These whers can be male or female and look like they are made of glitter, though if you tough them you will realize that their hide is just a normal hide no matter what they look like. The female produces one egg every turn when she runs and these pets are very rare and you need a lot of merrits to have one.
