Physical Appearance:
Irilia is so delicate in appearance as to attract protective tendencies from some, especially males. She has raven black hair that falls in soft curls, a fair complexion and blue eyes. Anyone who sees her and D'ran together can have no doubt that they are siblings. She is pretty, and shows the promise of some day being beautiful. She is not overly tall, and slender, with just the right amount of feminine curves. Her voice is a gorgeous, light soprano, and has a lilt to it.
Iri prefers to wear blues, and enjoys dressing up and looking pretty...but only when the occasion warrants it. She tends to be quick of both speech and movement.
Personality:
Whilst Irilia and D'ran look a lot alike, in personality they are very different. Irilia's overall impression is 'sweet little thing'. She wouldn't say boo to anyone, or so it seems. Artistic and creative, she sketches, she makes up little songs, she has her head in the clouds a good part of the time.
Underneath that is steel. For all of her quietness, she is the one who could make a leader...except that she would never put herself forward as such and a challenge would not be in her style. She has great courage and great loyalty, although when it comes to erotic relationships, she is likely to change mates with the seasons. Her friendships, though, stay solid.
Irilia thinks her brother is a totally obnoxious brat! (She's probably right). However, she's the only one who's allowed to actually say that. She loves him, even (especially) when they've had a massive fight and aren't talking to each other.

Species: Feline Blue Firelizard
Appearance: Splotch's name has an obvious source. He is an even light blue, but has an irregular patch of darker blue across his back and wingshoulders. He is of average size and otherwise quite typical build.
Personality: Splotch is not one of those pampered tame firelizards. He likes his human, but is quite likely to take a chunk out of anyone else who tries to touch him. He is aloof, and shows affection entirely on his own terms. But hey, a source of regular food is good. He always shows up at dinnertime, and often acts nice...and while he'd never admit it, he does enjoy being petted. By Iri. And only by Iri.
History:
Some people, even in a Weyr, are loyal to their mates. I'lan and Deria never allowed anyone else into their beds, outside flights...and I'lan's dragon flew Deria's more often than not.
The two had two children, two years apart. The oldest was their son, Deran. The youngest their daughter, Irilia. Both were raised in the creche but with much attention from their parents.
Whilst Deran grew into a brat, Irilia remained the quiet one, much like her rather self-effacing mother. She showed a desire to be a harper from an early age, but accepted her duty to Impress. Music, though, is not something she has surrendered. Possessed of a good sense of rhythm and pitch, she has trained as much as she can.
When old enough she started to Stand for Hatchings. She had to stand twice before being chosen, by a gold.

She is a pale gold and her coat never shines unless it is glowing because she is flying. She is a large sized dragon and she has a proud carriage of herself, masking her long tail.

She is very quiet and subtle, though she will get her way. She has a very strong personality beneath that quietness. She would never think about sneaking around like a midnight because that would be bellow her dignity.
