Physical Appearance: Gavrie is medium height, about 5'10, with a thin build. He usually wears darker, muted colors. He is tan and strong from his time outside, wandering the wilderness alone. He is often seen with a small smile on his face. He has red hair which he keeps short and well groomed, and bright blue eyes.
Personality: Gavrie is a very good natured person who would never hurt a fly. He is kind to everyone, and is sometimes easily taken advantage of because of this. He has a humorous side, and tries to cheer people up with jokes when they are feeling down. An optimist, he tries to always find the bright side of things. He loves the outdoors, and can spend hours outside, exploring. He loves all living creatures, and believes the oppression of Pinks is wrong and should be stopped.

Appearance: She has a dark green hide with pale green tiger stripes. One wing is slightly bent, as a result of an injury she had in a mating flight. She can still fly, but limps a bit.
Personality: She can be fliratious, but she is very timid and scared of everything. She is clingy and sticks close to Gavrie most of the time.
History: The Pink rider Agnesse was assigned as a mate to Fire rider G'ryen. The Fire rider despised her at first, but slowly got to know her, and fell in love with her. Of course, the love was forbidden, but they developed a romance in secret. They were happy when Agnesse got pregnant, but then tragedy struck. She died in the difficult twin birthing, and G'ryen was never the same after that. He barely acknowledged his sons, because their resemblance to their mother was too painful.
He never admitted to his romance with a pink rider. He told Alexei and Gavrie about it, but warned them to keep it a secret.
The twins were raised in the creche, along with all of the other weyrbrats. From early on, Gavrie was the shy one, and Alexei the protector. They had a good childhood, but Gavrie in particular had difficulty with their differing views from most of the other weyrbrats. One time, he got into a big fight with one of the older weyrbrats about Pinks, and he ran away. Three days later, Alexei found him on the outskirts of the Weyr, cradling an injured wild green in his hands. Gavrie had Impressed the green when he found her injured after a mating Flight.
About two turns later, candidates were needed for Halth's clutch. The twins decided to stand together and try their luck at becoming dragon riders.
