Name: Relicath
Color: Midnight
Age: 12 Turns
Mate: Teal Hroth
Appearance: Relicath is a lighter-colored Midnight dragon. Her hide is actually an array of different grays. Her main color continues to be an unflinching black, and she has a sheen that could be called black, but actually looks more silver. But her other colors seem to be splattered across her body in random configurations. It seems as if someone just threw monotone paint over her hide. The most noticeable color is a light gray, with two other colors covering it: a normal gray and a gray almost as dark as the black. She also has an unusual configuration of splotches across her chest. The light gray creates a backdrop for the gray and dark gray, which create marks like claw marks. These are faux claw marks, but the real claw marks from Hroth are located right under them. These are also a light gray, so they look almost like the faux ones. She has a couple of other scars on her body, making her look older than she actually is.
Personality: If Midnight dragons are stealthy, then Relicath is the evolution of a Midnight dragon. She is the master of stealth, able to creep up on an opponent in the middle of the day in the open. In the dark she is even harder to spot if she doesn’t want to be spotted. And she rarely wants to be spotted. She is not a force to be messed with when angered, always biting (physically) at anything that angers her. Sure, she always looks angry, but in reality she is only acting. She is a very careful dragon at hear; if she isn’t careful, her stealth would be for nothing. She also has a commanding presence because of her angry outlook. Despite all said before, when dealing with dire things, she takes on a calm air. She deals with things precisely and expertly, always seeming to know the right things. It looks as if many dragons believe in her skills.
History: The day Menth’s eggs hatched was a glorious one. Every candidate Impressed. The others turend their backs on the hatchlings waiting to Impress, waiting for Theirs to come. Unfortunately, they never did. Some dragons, the weaker ones, chose death and the cold of between rather than life without a Rider. There was a select few, though, who were strong enough to go alone. One of those few was a Midnight who named herself Relicath.
Being naturally stealthy, Relicath made her way out of the hatching sands. Following her insatiable hunger, the dragon hatchling found her first morsel of food. There were wild dragons waiting at the hatching for dragonets that didn't hatch, like Relicanth and the others. They enticed her with food, then brought her between to their living space. There she met the rest of the wild dragons of the Moonstruck fair, and there she grew. Relicath learned apart from the other hatchlings of that Turn only because she was younger than them; instead, she was taught by the whole fair.
After nearly a Turn, the small dragon was finished with her training. She was admitted into the fair as a full dragon even though she would not Fly for at least two more Turns. At three Turns old, she did fly, and she was happy that Hroth, the leader of the fair, did not chase her. He surely would have won. Unfortunately, all of her meager clutch of ten did not hatch because several were duds and the rest were smashed by Hroth (though he probably doesn’t remember doing the deed). Torn, Relicath decided that she would rather not have Hroth catch her, and if he ever flew in her Flight, she would do anything she could to stop him.
Fortunately, the next time she flew, she was caught by another dragon, and clutched eggs, but only 8 of them. Four did not hatch, and one did not make it to adult-hood. The three remaining were a Teal, a Midnight, and an Aqua. But the next time she flew, she was caught by Hroth. She had tried futily to shake him off by wearing him down. Unfortunately, he never tired, and soon caught her. Along with injuring her, to tell her, as well as every dragon, that she was his. Now she is with eggs. She admires Hroth, though he probably doesn’t think anything of her. Where she used to loathe him, she understands what he’s been through as a leader. She might be the youngest co-leader ever to lead this fair.
