An ordinary pink

OOC: Fuzzy timed to slightly before the Hatching as we don't know how many pinks Impressed yet.

Kanesha whistled along as she changed glows. She was as cheerful as...well, as the slightly older pink rider ever got.

It was not a bad day...even if she hoped most of the pinks from the hatching due any day went wild. On her bad days, she wished Syreth had gone wild and she with it.

But no. She was what she was, and there was no changing it. Thus, she found what happiness she could. At least...at least she didn't have to worry about responsibility.

Her tiny dragon tagged along, wings tightly furled...but there was little Syreth could do to help with this task.

B'mre was aslo changing the glows. Along with Zenth. His fair was purched on the pink and were lazly sitting there. He soon bumped in to Kenesha. Though he did not see her pink dragon and he quickly said " Oh I am sorry. Please forgive me."

"Hello, B'mre," the older pinkrider responded, her tone on the very edge of being cheerful.

She wondered how he had all of those firelizards. The only times she'd ever found eggs, she'd had a 'real' rider demand them of her before they hatched.

Syreth warbled to B'mre. As always, the pink, small even for a pink, sounded like today was the best day of her life.

B'mre realized the other was a pink rider also and his panic left him. He looked at her and siad " Hello Kanesha. Hello Syreth." Amythest flew around and purched on Kanesha's shoulders and chirped a greeting at her before rubbing her head aginst her cheek. Topaz though landed on B'mre's shoulders while Oynx clung to his bonded's shirt and climbed inside. Zenth warbled her own greeting to the other two. She was a bit bigger than Syreth. Though that was only becuase she was one the large side for a pink.

Kanesha laughed. "Your firelizard is being disloyal, B'mre."

It was a purple...just, really, the firelizard equivalent of a pink, but quite cute. "And you'll distract me from my work."

Kanesha took her work seriously, which undoubtedly made her B'mre's despair. There was no hint of rebellion, or even its possibility, in her or her dragon.

B'mre smiled and siad " No. She is just being friendly." He then thought for a moment and siad " Why does it matter that I am distracting you." He just sighed. She was one of the he worried for. He then wishpered " Lisitin you should join us. You and Syreth are going to be punished when we put our plan into montion. That is if you don't come along. I mean don't you care about Syreth. Don't you want her to be free."

Kanesha shook her head. "You really think they would punish the people who aren't total idiots? I should tell the Weyrwoman."

She'd seriously considered it. At least, that would make absolutely sure Syreth didn't get hurt. "And it does matter. We have duty, we should do it, and set aside this crap about pretending we're real riders. You really, really think they won't find you?"

B'mre just looked at her and siad " Fine I will have one of my flit's spy on you. If you do that we will sooner. Beside if they find use then they will have to battle the Wild Fairs to get us back. Because we are joining them. Plus they will punish you. Saying they won't means you are in denail." He then looked at her pink feeling sorry for it and siad " Ok then. You say we are not riders. Though that still does not mean we have to accept our lifemates being put in chains. It is obvious that you don't care about her or else you would want her free."

Kanesha fixed her eyes on B'mre. "I want her alive. The wild fairs are as likely to kill you as take you in."

She reached to rest her hand on Syreth. "I won't risk our lives, B'mre. I won't turn you in, but I won't be part of this insanity either."

[yamamoto]

B'mre sighed and siad " You are risking your lives by staying here. When we leave they will punish you. You are nothing more than slaves to them. You are on the lowest rung of the ladder. They care nothing for your life or the life of your dragon. You ovbiously don't want her alive if you are going to stay here. "

Kanesha shook her head, "They won't kill me. They need us, and you know it. If you really thought they would kill anyone who stayed, you wouldn't leave. You wouldn't get people killed...or would you? Is it that you think we're better off dead? You won't make that decision for me. Leave us alone or I *will* tell the Weyrwoman."

[yamamoto]

B'mre just looked at her and siad " That is exactlly my point. They need us. That is why if we leave they will free our dragons form chains. That is all I want. I want Zenth to be free and to be able to fly. We can make them do that if we leave though if most of us don't go then it won't work. When we come back you can countie doing what are now. That is not what I am after. I don't care if they make us riders. I want my life partner out of chain. Even if they were going to kill those that stayed I would still leave. I love Zenth to much to lets some fools who don't care about there dragons hold me back form freeing her." Zenth then nuzzled him and said Let's go Mine. It is obvoius that she want to leave her dragon in chians. Zenth looked at the other dragon and siad I fell sorry for you. Your's claims to care for you yet does not want you free. With that B'mre turned and began to head in the other direction with Zenth following. If she did not want to go. He was not going to waste his time.

"I won't follow somebody who's determined to get everyone killed," Kanesha said after him. The pinkrider then turned back to her task.

Syreth, for her part, said nothing...but then, she seldom did. Her spirit had been broken many turns before. Freedom? She would not know what to do with it.
