Marketa Island Weyr
The skies Weather you are flit or a dragon and you are flying, you are in the skies. Weather you are chasing thread, intruding wild dragons, just flying, or their is a pretty girl that has begun flight, you are in the skies. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Around the Weyr Weather you are on the fire heights or just walking around the weyr, you are just generallly "in the weyr". Any where on Maketa Island is "the weyr". Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Weyrbowl Upon entering the weyr you see the weyr bowl. It is the crater of an old volcano and a small lake has formed in the very center. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Creche Down in the lower caverns is where the creche is located. This place is where all the children that are not considered old enough to impress are located. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen

Candidate Barracks The candidate barracks have two rooms, a common room, and a candidate master's room in their cave system. One of the rooms is for girls and the other is for guys. The common room is also used for lessons. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Weyrling Barracks This is where all the people who have just impressed live. They live in one room with couches for the dragon or wher and a bed for themselves. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Personal Quarters This is where all the island dragon riders stay after they have graduated from weyrling hood. All the room are practically the same size. (of course pink riders don't stay here) There are no special quarters for weyrwoman and weyrleader since it is always changing. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Upper Caverns (2 sub-boards) The upper Caverns include two places, the dining hall and the infirmary. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen

Lower Caverns (1 sub-board) These are the places where the pink riders wash clothing, make food for the rest of the weyr and either transport it to a room or take it the Dining hall in the upper Caverns. Pink riders also have a place where they make things down here and cleaning supplies are kept. Everything they need to work is down here, including their quarters. Moderators: Franny, Sparrow, Zen
Glory Island Weyr (7 sub-boards) This beautiful Island was given to the Continental dragons as a place to come and relax in paradise. The riders and dragons of the continental Weyrs often come here whan they get older or, just because they want the nice weather of the islands. In secret, these riders and dragons also watch their strange neighbors, the Island dragons, and they protect themselves from wild dragon Fairs attaching. A thin Creek separates them from the hold they built to support themselves. Glory Island Weyr (1 Gold at the moment) Sr. Weyrwoman=Dorynel and gold Sirunath Sr. Weyrleader= B'vor and Bronze Voxth
New Island Hold This is the hold that was set up right beside Glory Island weyr to support the weyr. These people are honest farmers, beastcrafters, and many other types of people. Wild Islands
The Wild Islands of Pern There are many islands on Pern, and four huge fairs of dragons inahabit or hunt on most of them. Wild People (although they are very rare) are also found out on these islands, either with their fair or on there own. The four fairs of the Islands are, "The Moonstruck Island Fair", "The Windward Island Fair", "The Skybound Island Fair", and "The Ocean Island Fair".
